Correcting Breast Position

In some cases, if the breast fold is significantly defined, adding implants won’t correct it because of the location of the breast fold. In these cases, Dr. Walker can try to use different-sized breast implants to make your breasts as even as possible.
If the asymmetry is visible enough, but the breast folds are close enough, the surgeon can use different techniques, including biplanar pocket formation, to correct the asymmetry.
If the areolas are not even, your surgeon can reposition it with a crescent mastopexy. This allows up to a one-centimeter difference in location. For those who require a larger adjustment, the surgeon can move the areola in any position with more extensive mastopexy procedures.
Correcting Size Differences
In most cases, asymmetrical breasts also have different shapes. Intraoperative sizers can get the breasts as close in size and shape as possible.
